Data Synchronization is an essential business need in any enterprise. Various business applications demand transfer of data (or) sharing of data across networks. Traditional systems had data, process and servers distributed and applications were islands. No analysis was made possible and there was a need for data integration and analysis to a greater extent.

Online applications over intranet/internet came as a solution to data integration and a net centric solution is established. Net centric solution is an ideal solution but demands powerful communication enablers and faster networks. Timeout error is frequent and frustrating the end users. To counter that, expensive infrastructure with a dedicated and high bandwidth connections have to be established.
